In this episode, we will discuss MODY … maturity-onset diabetes of youth - a common form of monogenic diabetes.  This disorder can be characterized as a heterogeneous group of autosomal dominant mutations that affect beta-cell function, which usually presents as non-ketotic hyperglycemia at a young age.
